Annual Fundraising Reception at MLK Library at MLK Library – 200 Guests
You know banned books? This client celebrates them!
Banned Books Week is an annual event that highlights the value of free and open access to information. Battle of the Banned takes place at the end of this week, inviting local DC libraries to showcase their artistic talents and teach guests of this event, what these books are about. During the event, guests are invited to go into a “voting booth” to vote on their favorite banned book art from that evening. Our teams hands out “I Voted” stickers, and guests can even “buy” votes by donating to the library!
