Friendship Public Charter School celebrates their educators at the annual Teacher of the Year (TOY) Gala. One nominee from each campus is selected and the winner is announced live, on stage.

For more than a decade this event has been held at the same venue. Moving it to Mellon Auditorium brought a lot of excitement, including the largest turnout ever for this event. These educators work hard throughout the year and taking care of them was easy. We started the evening with a cocktail reception, then moved into dinner for the plated dinner and program. After the award ceremony, guests moved to the after party featuring a band and dj who battled into the night.
